Reports of upcoming devices to be showcased at Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2014) in the first week of January 2014 are making it quick and fast. Asus M80TA leaked few days ago gets name as ViVoTab Note 8 and will be priced at $300 in USA. Interestingly it supports Wacom digitizer for handwriting input and sounds good to us in terms of hardware.



Asus VivoTab Note 8It packs Intel Atom Z3740 Quad-Core SoC clocked at 1.33 Ghz with 2 GB RAM on top of 8-inch 1280 x 800 pixels IPS touchscreen display. There is 3950 mAh battery and comes with Windows 8.1 out of box. There are two cameras – primary with 5 mega pixel resolution and other with 1.2 mega pixel shooter spotted on the front. Internal storage is limited to 32 GB and there is a micro SD card slot.
