Smartwatches are getting smarter. The quick charging as found on smartphone is now available on smartwatches as Asus ZenWatch brings the capability of fast charge. At Computex Asus showed four new Android tablets, One Convertible notebook, Chrome-based desktop, a new ZenFone Selfie phone and now the newest, much improved ZenWatch 2 makes debut.

Just like Apple Watch, ZenWatch 2 will be available in 41 mm and 37 mm options. It’s the second Android Wear smartwatch announced by the company.
One of the most interesting details about the ZenWatch 2 is its battery life, which is reported to be around three to four days on single full charge. This is definitely way better than other smartwatch, except the Pebble Steel which delivers exceptional 7 days of battery life. There is development on how the ZenWatch 2 gets charged as Asus introduces charging via magnetic cable which can be connected from the backside of the watch casing. From the display point of view, it will be equipped with an AMOLED display covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 2.5D providing protection from normal wear and tear. Yes, you can use your ZenWatch 2 as rough as you want it to be.

For athletes, you can choose ZenWatch 2 in Supple Rubber strap with availability in Blue, Red, Taupe and Orange color. For any other lifestyle, you can go with soft, premium leather strap available in Brown, Khaki, Gray, Blue and Orange color options and stainless steel link bracelet with Silver, Gunmetal, Rose Gold color is suitable for bold, luxury looks and feel. Also there will be ZenWatch 2 with Swarovski Crystals coming up very soon.

At Computex 2015, Asus ZenWatch 2 was just announced and no pricing, availability details were revealed by the company. Just like any other Asustek product, this will be limited for sale in some countries in Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa, Middle-East and we are expecting a debut in United States.
