Availability of AT&T LTE-A network now expands to New York, San Franscisco and Dallas in United States.
The need for 4G LTE-A is more as there are couples of compatible handsets already in the market. A year ago, AT&T rolled out LTE-Advanced connectivity in Chicago and nearby areas and today New York, Dallas and San Francisco are in the list of LTE-A enabled cities.
Tom Keathley, the Senior Vice President of Network and Product Planning at AT&T confirmed the deployment of Advanced LTE network in three major United States cities.
LTE-A or 4G LTE+ is next generation of LTE network meant for faster download and upload speed and bringing out the new voice over LTE with HD video/voice calls.
As of now Amazon Fire Phone, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, Huawei Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus, HTC One M8, Huawei Ascend Mate 7, LG G Flex 2, LG G3, LG G Vista, Motorola Nexus 6, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Note 4, Note Edge, Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S5 LTE+ and Galaxy S4 are LTE-A phones.
