Apple iPad mini is boosted with Retina LCD display which provides stunning 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution. But does any Android tablet provide that better resolution? At Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2013, Chinese tablet PC firm named Bean Technology has come up with X1 tablet sporting 9.7 inches iPad’s Retina display.
X1 Android tablet might get a name change by Bean Technology if its launches officially. Along with 9.7 inches display, it’s packed with amazing specifications like 2 Ghz Samsung Exynos 5250 dual core processor with 2 GB DDR3 RAM and Mali T604 GPU taking care of the processing unit. Its believed that this Exynos chipset is two times faster than other quad core CPU available in the market. This processor is also adopted by Samsung in Chromebook and Nexus 10 Well! Processor is better and more than that it’s equipped with 8,000 mAh battery.
So what specs do you look at when you are choosing a tablet PC? Display or processor or higher battery capacity or camera? While X1 tablet has amazing display, better processor and amazing battery life, it’s equipped with 8 mega pixel camera on the rear side providing amazing photo and video recording. 2 mega pixel front facing camera can be used for face to face video chat. Furthermore, 32 GB & 64 GB different internal storage option will be available. Additionally this will be just like Asus Me172v tablet with 3G communications. Not sure what would be the Android version, although nothing less than 4.2 Jelly Bean is expected.
It has following specifications –
- 9.7 inches Retina LCD display
- 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution
- 2 GHz Samsung Exynos 5250 dual core processor
- 2 GB DDR3 RAM
- Mali T604 GPU
