BLU is a small but reputated smartphone player in USA. They sell unlocked devices and among the new launches from them includes the Blu Pure XR and Blu Studio G2. Today the company has added a new smartphone in the Vivo Series lineup as Blu Vivo 5R goes official.
In terms of hardware we have the BLU Vivo 5R running the Octa core processor with Mediatek’s MT6753 chipset coupled with 3 Gigs of RAM and 32 GB internal memory.
This smartphone comes up with Blu Help app pre-installed and that’s kind of bloatware. Actually first sign of bloatware on any Blu phones.
We have the 5.5 inch full HD display on the device and there is 13 mega pixel rear camera with Sony IMX258 image sensor and 8 mega pixel front facing camera for selfies.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and I think there will not be any software upgraded to it. Sorry, if you are looking for Nougat or something similar.
