Cherry Mobile Philippines is gearing up to unveil first-ever quad core tablet with 10 inch display to be dubbed as Cherry Mobile Fusion Fire. Priced at PHP 7999 it will soon be available at various Cherry Mobile dealers. Not too long ago, Cherry Mobile launched Fusion Bolt the 7-inch quad core tablet.

Display Screen

Featuring the USB On-the-Go compatibility, Cherry Mobile all set with Fusion Fire tablet. It was officially confirmed by Cherry Mobile Facebook Fan page with exact photo and specifications of it. The 10.1 inches IPS capacitive touch display with 149.5 pixel density provides stunning 1280 x 800 pixels resolution(more than 720p HD resolution) with 10 point multi-touch input display.

Processor & GPU

While shopping for a tablet, everyone looks to include the best of processor and GPU configuration. Cherry Mobile Fusion Fire will not disappoint you as its powered with 1 Ghz Actions ATM7029 quad core processor with Cortex A9 chipset supported with 1 GB RAM provides no lagging speed and faster response time. Vivante GC1000+ chipset powers the graphical support.

Software

At this moment most of the vendors doesn’t think of any other OS than Google’s open source Android. It includes the latest 4.1 Jelly Bean version providing butter crisp navigation and other handy features.

Storage

While we talk about storage, it covers both internal and external storage limits and possibilities. Fusion Fire will not disappoint users as it includes onboard 16 GB storage capacity (less than 15.6 GB is user available, rest is consumed by phone system resources). Cherry Mobile has included micro SD card slot supporting addition of more storage by pumping a micro SD card of any size.

Built in Camera

Fusion Fire tablet includes 2 mega pixel fixed focus camera without any LED flash and we also see front facing VGA camera used for face to face video chat via Google Hangout.

Battery Life

Fusion Fire tablet extracts juices from 8,000 mAh Lithium ion non removable battery it provides 8 hours of video playback or 5 hours of gaming playback. Well this are just measure maximum battery life sustained by Fusion Fire but overall with one day usage, you need to charge it overnight. Still 8,000 mAH battery is a good addition considering quad core processor and 10 inches display consumers a large amount of battery.

Minor Specs

The USB On the Go via external 3G dongle is great add-on although you will be disappointed not to find aGPS or Bluetooth not being the part of this tablet. It measures a thickness of 9.8 mm and weights 672 grams with availability in both White and Black color variants.

It will be only sold in Philippines and right now available at SM North EDSA and SM Mall of Asia at PHP 7,999. According to Techlokal this tablet is the relabeled of Ainol Novo 10 Hero II been sold at PHP 9,800 but considering the great discount of PHP 1800 I would say prefer Cherry Mobile Fusion Fire.
