In the last week of November, Mac Otakara a Japan based website reported that Apple has plans to remove headphone jack on iPhone 7 and go for All-in-one lightning connector for audio output and connectivity. Today more fuel was added to this iPhone 7 pertaining to inclusion of All-in-One lightning connector.
Today Chinese sites Anzhuo.cn and Wei Feng claims that supply chain new from undisclosed sources confirms this controversial rumor. Both the website states that iPhone 7 will not have traditional 3.5 mm headphone, instead Apple will go with lightning connector and also projected that Cupertino tech giant will release wireless Bluetooth headphones in coming months. The new Lightning connector with have a digital to audio converter and it will be backward compatible with wired headphone using 3.5 mm headphone jack.
Apple might also introduces wireless charging on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus because both charging the smartphone and using the Lightning equipped headphones isn’t possible at a time.
Currently we have Philips M2L are Apple-approved Lightning-equipped headphones.
