Just a couple of months back WhatsApp released WhatsApp Web through which you can get your WhatsApp directly on PC by scanning a QR code. The problem with that was that you need to have Internet continuously on your mobile and laptop and sometimes it might get disconnected, even if you lock your device.
Good news rolls out WhatsApp desktop app has been released and it’s available for Windows and Mac. The release was long awaited by many users.
According to official WhatsApp release note this will be an extension of WhatsApp mobile app on the desktop. Since this an application running on your desktop natively you will have support of desktop notification, better keyboard shortcut and many more to come in future versions.
WhatsApp desktop app is available for Windows 8+ and Mac OS 10.9+.
