Step 1: There is a default function in Android M that is Wi-Fi scanning. In order to turn it off, follow the given steps.

  1. Go to option Settings and select it.
  2. Now select the preference Location.
  3. Open Menu showing three dots in the top right corner side.
  4. Now you can see the option scanning. Turn it off.

Step 2: It is a time to reset the settings once again.

  1. Go back to Settings.
  2. Head off to Backup and Reset.
  3. Select the option Network Settings Reset.
  4. And finally tap on Reset Settings.
