HTC First aka Myst the First Facebook Android Phone Pictured

The mystical Facebook event is quickly approaching (on April 4, 2013). We reported that HTC and Facebook are teaming up to come up with a smartphone. We called it as mysterious because Facebook hasn’t said anything about the event although they provided a small hint that it will be product related to Android in their press invite. Although techies are sure that the wait is all about the first Facebook Phone.HTC First


EVLeaks is active again as yet another popular smartphone is about to launch. They have hooked up an image of the device known as HTC First. If that information comes true, there is big change log in the naming of the device. First known to us as Facebook Buffy, later on as Opera and then HTC Myst as what everyone expected. Specifications of device are not yet out officially but it’s rumored to have following –

  • 4.3 inches 1280 x 720 pixels resolution
  • 1 Ghz Qualcomm MSM8930 dual core processor
  • 1 GB RAM
  • Adreno 305 GPU
  • 16 GB internal memory
  • Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS
  • 5 mega pixel main camera
  • 1.6 mega pixel front camera
  • WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n
  • Bluetooth 4.0

With specifications, one can easily say that it will be a mid-range smartphone priced in the range of affordability of all. There are back fence talk that it will have Facebook Home app as the home screen and launcher app. Basically Facebook Home will provide quick access to Facebook Messenger, Graph Search, Photos & Contacts.

While these are back fence talks, we see the device offering the same three capacitive touch button at the bottom of the screen as found in most of the Android phones. The device will be priced in between $ 360 and $ 410.
