HTC One Software Update Now Rolling out in Europe

HTC One is delayed for launch and this newest smartphone in Europe is now seeding the first software update available officially. The software update with version 1.29.401.12 is now available for carrier unlocked devices also some specific network locked devices such as Vodafone and Telefonica Germany.

Other operators HTC One version will follow soon in few days. So this is the first firmware/software update that the flagship HTC phone is rolling out officially.

The following are the improvements included in the update —

  • Patch for Google sites (for the weather)
  • Fixed Bluetooth 4.0 faults
  • Adjustment of slow-motion videos (exposure)
  • Problem with the back buttons
  • Optimizations for network providers
  • System stability
  • Sound correction in Zoe HTC and Beats Audio

This update is approximately 230 MB in size and since this is in large size, you should install it by connecting your phone to Wi-Fi for a quick update within 30 minutes. You might have received notification on your phone, pull down it from the notification bar and follow the instructions.

If you haven’t received a notification, you can check availability on your device by manually going through Settings > About Phone > Software Update and then tap on Check Now.

Soon you can expect this update available in other countries’ carriers as well.
