HTC One SV gets Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OTA update

HTC Corporation is quite busy in updating their last year launched Android devices; none of them are tablet PCs. One X & One S has been already updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update in the country, now it’s the turn of One SV.

The HTC One SV is the higher variant of the Desire SV smartphone launched last year and this update to the device brings the love of Google Now and brings few improvements and enhancements. Along with those improvements it also brings Project Butter providing smooth scrolling and beautiful user interface. This update brings the latest version of Sense to Sense + before the upcoming update bringing you the Sense 5.

The update file size is of total of 378 MB in size and can be updated via over the air update. There is no special press release or information said by HTC about this update, but they might soon come up with one such.

Under the hood, One SV is with 4.3 inches touchscreen display and runs on the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It’s powered with 1.2 GHz dual-core processor with 8 GB internal memory and a micro SD card slot providing additional storage.

So if you want to download this update, then go to Settings > About Phone > Software Update > Check Now. Once you see the update, click on Download, then Install and finally reboot to your device will be automatically done.
