Huawei is preparing to exhibit big 6.1 screen quad core phone dubbed as Ascend Mate with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean at CES 2013. Check the devices specs, features and availability information.
It started with 4” display smartphones and then followed with the launch of 4.3”, 4.5” then 5 inches and then 5.5 inches. But recently several manufacturers have teased smartphones which touches 6 inches display. Infact Samsung Galaxy Note III is rumoured to be with 6.3” huge display screen. Can it be called a smartphone to fit in pocket? Huawei has a bouncer in the way just like their early quad core phone announced with Ascend D as they have showcased the prototype of 6.1 inches screen size phone. Though the device is just spotted in leak information, there is no official word been stated by the Chinese smartphones giant. If there anything happening with Huawei then we might see glimpse of the device at CES and MWC 2013.
Huawei Ascend Mate
Ascend Mate from the house of Huawei will be sporting 6.1 inches too large display screen providing 1080p viewing experience. However exact details of the display screen are not known yet and if the device gets launched then it will be the direct competitor to recently launched Galaxy Note II and upcoming Galaxy Note III. Moreover we happened to learn that the device is sported with 1.8 Ghz quad core processor with 2 GB RAM providing the power house specifications.
It’s said that 4,000 mAh battery would be normal to the device and as commented the device will be dearer to consumers at an attractive price of $ 480. We expect more devices in 2013 in 6 to 7 inches segment.
