Race to thinnest smartphone in the world is continues as Oppo is working on 6 mm phone although Alcatel One Touch Idol Ultra holds the title right now. Huawei also has teased the thinnest title following with Ascend P1 and Ascend P smartphones. Huawei Technologies are back again into action as Ascend P6 is rumored to have a thickness of 6.18 mm only.

Under the hood it’s includes 4.7 inches 1280 x 720 touchscreen display and nothing less than Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is rumored. It will be powered with 1.5 GHz quad core K3V2 processor supported with 2 GB RAM. With web sources we have learn that Huawei is working on to come up with Honor 3 as well. So that makes a total of two new smartphones for Huawei. Tracking the Huawei records, it’s clear that these smartphones will first launch in China and no international availability details are known. Interestingly if rumors about Ascend P6 happens to be true, then it will be the thinnest smartphone beating Alcatel One Touch Idol by 0.3 mm thickness.
