iBall Launches 4.7-Inch Andi 4.7G Cobalt High Priced Jelly Bean Phablet

While the monsoon has arrived just at the right time, it’s still raining with affordable phablet phones in India. While there exist lot many affordable phablets in India, iBall’s recent launch of 4.7G Cobalt in the Andi series is priced at Rs 17,500. Although this is not officially announced by iBall Technologies, we see its listing on eBay.in.iBall Andi 4.7G Cobalt

As the name itself indicates Andi 4.7G Cobalt is with 4.7 inches capacitive IPS touchscreen display providing 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution with 312 ppi pixel density. Just where all other quad core phones falls, iBall brings the MediaTek MT6589 processor with 1 GB RAM and PowerVR SGX 544 MP on it, means you are with a device with no lags. It’s with Android latest 4.2 Jelly Bean version out of box and includes 16 Gb internal memory + micro SD card slot.iBall Andi 4.7G Cobalt

iBall Cobalt’s is all about camera as it’s packed with 12 mega pixel AF camera with dual LED flash on the rear side and there is 5 mega pixel on the front side used for face to face video chat and video calling feature. With 2200 mAh removable battery you can expect prolonged battery life of more than a day of normal usage. Furthermore it includes the following features: 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dual MIC for noise cancellation, OTG function, micro USB, GPS and 3.5mm audio jack and sensors like G-Sensor, light, magnetic, gyro and proximity sensors.

Given at Rs 17,500 and powered with MediaTek chipset it’s high price for such a handset although final review should be hands-on with the device.
