Lenovo has jumped into local Android smartphone competition as they have announced LePhone A706, believed to be their cheapest Android quad core phone. Build with rounder corners and a stylish silver panel on the back around the camera will be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8225Q CPU with 1 GB RAM. Its sports 4.5 inches FWVGA IPS touchscreen display providing 16:9, 854 x 480 pixels screen resolution providing pixel density of 217 ppi. Graphical acceleration is powered by Qualcomm Adreno200 chipset. Under the hood, there is 5 mega pixel camera on the rear side with LED flash and also includes front facing VGA camera as well. It extracts juices from 2,000 mAh Lithium ion battery resting on the back of phone which can be easily removable. For a 4.5 inch + quad core powered phone 2,000 mAh battery is good enough to run the device for one complete day operation. The device certainly is not the thinnest as it measures a thickness of 10.4 mm and weights 137 grams.
It includes only 4 GB internal storage capacity and you will have to definitely pump in a micro SD card. It will be a dual SIM smartphone with One SIM card accepting 3G and comes with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean version out of box.

Lenovo has not yet revealed any pricing to A706 smartphone although Antelife.com is selling is for $ 227.59.
