Apart from launching LG G4 Stylus phone, LG Electronics also launched G4C smartphone. Both are the newest variant of LG G4 smartphone. The G4c carries nothing special but a regular smartphone with a refreshed Android version aka the Android 5.0 Lollipop. Typically going with the naming, the LG G4c is the cheaper version of the LG G4 smartphone as addition of “C” in the naming should definitely mean the Cheap.

Display & Camera

The display on the G4c smartphone measures 5-inch measured diagonally and it provides 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution. The best thing on this phone is the rear facing camera which measures 8 mega pixel in range. It includes LED flash for improved photography under low or no light conditions. LG G4c

There is also 5 mega pixel front facing camera, perfectly suitable for selfies and HD video calls on Skype, Google+ and other chatting platforms.

Software & Processor

While LG didn’t mention the chipset on it, but G4c is powered with quad core processor clocked at 1.2 Ghz and coupled with 1 Gigs of RAM.LG G4c

In terms of Android, LG believes in latest version and G4c runs with material design out of box. Yes, the Android 5.0 Lollipop on it with LG UX 4.0 as that we saw on LG G4 phone.

What We Like

LG G4c should be considered for following reasons –

  • Android 5.0 Lollipop
  • Better Front Facing Camera
  • Good Battery Life

What We Don’t Like

  • Pricing should be checked. LG has priced their smartphone bit higher than its competitor phones with similar specs.


The phone goes up against likes of Moto G 2nd Gen, Huawei Honor 4X and Asus ZenFone 2 globally.

Price, Availability

It’s available in Metallic Grey, Shiny Gold and Ceramic White colors options and it’s priced at normally between $250 to $300 depending in which country you reside.

  • In Europe: G4c is now available in Netherlands at a price of €248 or $275 from Handtec and CarPhone Warehouse.
  • In America: We are yet to see any announcement by AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile whether they will carry this phone or not.
  • In South Korea: it’s retailing at KRW280,280 or $249 equivalent.
  • In India: No announcement from LG India.
