NEC Casio Mobile Communication is known for pretty crazy ideas when it comes to smartphone design. After the debut of Medias W as the first dual-screen phone at Mobile World Congress in February this year, they back with world’s first water cooled phone. Company has also launched Medias Tab UL N-08D the world’s lightest tablet.
Dubbed as NEC Medias X N-06E, it’s the phone with water-cooled processor. It was announced today as a part of NTT DoCoMo summer sale lineup and set for debut in end of June.
From its outer design, one can say that it’s pretty ordinary phone with simple design but under the hood, handset comes up with water-filled pipe near 1.7 Ghz quad core processor. Water-filled pipe is brought near CPU to make the device cooler from heating and this kind of technology is first adopted by NEC. The following infographic explains how its used.
Going through the specifications, its powered with quad core processor as mentioned above on top of 4.7 inch 720 x 1280 HD display screen. It brings the latest Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS version and in Q4, its might get Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update as well.
Equipped with 13.1 mega pixel primary camera it brings digital camera photography embedded into your phone with 1080p full HD video filming and 1.3 mega pixel camera quite handy for face to face video chat support. Medias X N-06E is water proof and dust proof phone as well and includes highly efficient 2300 mAh Li-ion battery.
