The Nextbit Robin is now available in a limited edition red color variant costing $299 apart from the original Mint and Midnight colors.
Nextbit Robin is a cloud-focused smartphone that comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display running the Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3 gigs of RAM. It gets 13 mega pixel rear snapper and 5 mega pixel front facing camera which advanced connectivity options like a USB Type-C port, a 2680 mAh battery with a quick charging facility, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and a fingerprint sensor. There is native 32 GB storage and you also get 100 GB online cloud storage, so everything on your device will get backed up online when the device is connected to Wi-Fi.
The Nextbit Robin smartphone received the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update in April 2016 and ever since upgrading to that major software roll out, the question of whether this device will be getting the Android Nougat 7.0 update or not arises. The Marshmallow update didn’t surprise anyone as it was expected but if it sees through the Android Nougat then everyone will be surprised. Since it’s the only phone that the company offers, the development team should highly consider bringing the Nougat features to the people who have trusted their brand first up.
