Samsung Electronics the worldwide leader in smartphones has started rolling out the Jelly Bean update to Galaxy Ace 2 GT I8060 smartphone available for updating starting from today. As of now Portugal region has confirmed the successful availability and this update is been delivered not by Over the Air update but by manual connecting to your phone to PC and updating it via Samsung KIES.
Samsung KIES is the PC Suite for updating, backing up Samsung smartphones. There is no change log provided for this update available but a we all know that while moving from Android 4.0 to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean version, you see Google Now app being integrated and brings the much needed user interface changes along with Project Butter Improvements. You also get enhanced notifications and better widgets controlling.
This update as of now is available in Portugal as its country wise roll out and when Europe region is covered, it will be available to all the countries wherever Galaxy Ace 2 is available.

Furthermore, the Android 4.2.2 is now enjoyed by Samsung Galaxy S4, later in May or June Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note will be updated to Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. Nothing has been said about Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie availability.
