Samsung Galaxy S7 Mini to Compete 4 Inch iPhone

After the launch of Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2016, Samsung is due to add few more variants to flagship Galaxy S phone this season. The trend indicates that there is always a rugged Galaxy S variant every year and this time also we will have the Galaxy S7 Active as well. Just like Galaxy S5 Active and Galaxy S6 Active, the rugged Galaxy S7 will be AT&T exclusive handset. Just like that, there will be also Galaxy S7 Duos and Galaxy S7 Edge Duos [dual SIM handset] as famous in various Asian countries.

According to anonymous rumours from Taiwan, Samsung has plans to launch Galaxy S7 Mini which will be South Korean smartphone giant response to 4-inch iPhone. Rumored as iPhone SE, its expected to be announced at March 21 event officially and from past couple of months there are a number of leaks regarding the handset.

Galaxy S7 Mini will be the direct competitor to iPhone 5SE and as per the rumors, the mini Galaxy S7 version will be with 4.6 inch Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and it will be housing atleast quad core processor inside it with 2 GB or 3 GB RAM.

Samsung is likely to retain 12 mega pixel camera on Galaxy S7 Mini as well and dates of announcement aren’t yet disclosed. It’s still in rumors and it hasn’t passed through any telecom authority regulatory like TENAA or FCC of any country.
