Spice Mobility and several other India manufacturers have plans to come up with Firefox OS smartphone. Spice was on top of it to get it first in India as Spice Fire One Mi-FX1 has been official released in India priced at Rs 2299.
Firefox OS is known to compatible with low-end smartphones as well and this is why we see it’s been installed on Intex Cloud FX, a device priced at Rs 1,999 in India.
With these ultra-low phone been powered with Firefox eco-system, Spice & Intex will be hopping that featured phones and other Java phones will be now priced dearer as Firefox OS has taken it’s place.
Spice Fire One will be a dual SIM smartphone with 3.5 inch HVGA touchscreen display and packs 1 Ghz single core processor. It comes with dual camera of 1.3 mega pixel rear shooter and 0.3 MP front facing shooter. The device doesn’t include 3G connectivity as you need to adjust with 2G only and also includes option of WiFi. Facebook, Twitter, Connect A2, AccuWeather, Here Maps, Firefox Marketplace are the apps pre-installed on the device.
The device will go on for sale via Snapdeal at a price of Rs 2299 from August 29. The device will be limited in stock and if something new is your taste then you should definitely have a go with it.
