How to Upload 360 Degree Photos on Facebook iOS, Android App

Facebook latest update brings some major improvements to Android app as the latest version release of 80.0.21.65 brings ability to upload 360 degree or Panorama photos on Facebook. The iOS app as well got this feature with the latest update as of June 9 with version 57.0. The 360 degree view or the panorama view is used to capture a large area. While Panorama might be limited to horizontally or vertical aligned photos, the 360 degree photos will take complete view on all side at a particular point of view. To view 360 degree photos you will have to view by scrolling left to right or vice versa to see entire image.

To take 360 degree photos on iPhone you will have to open camera app and then navigate to Panorama Mode [written as PANO] and tap on it. Now you will have the icon and the message on the screen of your smartphone aka assisting you on how to take Panorama photos.

Take a panorama pictures using one of the following –

  • iPhone 4S or newer
  • iPad mini 2 or newer
  • iPad Air and iPad Air 2
  • iPad Pro

Samsung Galaxy

Take a panorama picture using one of the following in Surround Shot or Panorama mode:

  • Samsung Galaxy S5 or newer
  • Note 3 or newer
