Xiaomi Mido Spotted Running Android 6.0 & Snapdragon 625

Xiaomi Mido

After launching the Redmi Note 4 smartphone on August 25, we have a new device spotted in leaks. Named as Xiaomi Mido, the device was spotted passing through GeekBench website. While going through the benchmarking some of the device specifications got leaked and we spotted it powered up with Octa core processor clocked at 2.02 GHz with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. It has 2 gigs of RAM and runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based MIUI 8 ROM out of box.

As per the Xiaomi Mido Geekbench listing, it has got 3763 in multi-core and 806 in single core. Apart from that we don’t have any other information regarding it. We can only expect more specs in leaks and MIDO might not be the actual name of the device. It might be internal name of the device. So what will it be named finally? Is it a Redmi Note 4 variant or altogether a new device?

The above model could be a base model of the device because Xiaomi has always opt for two different variants based on RAM and internal storage. So we can expect this device to be available in top notch model with 3 GB or 4 GB RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB internal storage.

Xiaomi this month also introduced Redmi 3S Plus in order to improve the offline sales (offline sale only smartphone). It’s some how similar to Redmi 3S Prime and if you are eager to know what the difference, then do checkout our Redmi 3S vs Redmi 3S Plus vs Redmi 3S Prime comparison. Company also announced flagship Mi 5S and Mi 5S Plus in China.
