Indian Government hasn’t given up after adding “Aakash scam” to scam list done by Congress party in India. After Aakash failure to boot and Aakash 2 gets no interest from people in India, Kapil Sibal and other telecom ministers have plans for launching Aakash 4 tablet. It will be available for education sector costing there just Rs 15,00 ($26) and will be sold in public for Rs 2500 ($41).
Aakash 4 will be powered with seven inch scratch resistant touch display (hoping it’s not resistive touch) although the display resolution isn’t not, surely it’s not 720p HD. Interestingly the device will feature 4 GB internal storage capacity (2.6 GB is user available) and a micro Sd card slot supporting 32 GB of storage. It’s said that device will support 4G/3G SIM card apart from WiFi connectivity option.

The production of this tablet will begin from January 2014 and will be available by March or April 2014. This is part of education initiative to include tablet as yet another learning medium apart from books, teachers and parents.
