Popular leakster Evleaks has revealed that there will be three quarterly maintenance release of Android Nougat with Android 7.1, 7.1.1 and 7.1.2 version. These releases will bring in the new Pixel launcher and Google Assistant support.

Moving on to Android Nougat software roll-out, currently it’s available for Nexus devices and only one Android One handset. While Sony and HTC have officially listed the preliminary list of devices to get the Android 7.0 update, there will be many more devices added to the list later on. T-Mobile becomes the first carrier to list out devices getting through Nougat version although listed published by them includes only the Samsung Galaxy phones which the carrier sales.

The 7.1 update will be available in fall and the 7.1.1 is planned for December 2016 release. 7.1.2 Nougat update roll out might begin early next year. That’s what we have learn and hope Google does that.
