The September 9 Apple event was much dominated by both iPad Pro and iPhone 6S phone. Did anybody remember that iPad Mini 4 was also unwrapped? According to source, iPad Air 3 will be launching early next month or maybe later this year, means that its in works. Keeping the specifications rumors aside which are just the normal upgrade from its predecessor, there are talks that this tablet will receive the IP certification. If that happens it will be the first Apple iPad or iPhone with water resistant certification.
According to MyDrivers, iPad Air 3 will be sporting the same 9.7 inch display with a bumped up resolution of 2334 x 3112. In terms of resolution there is definitely an upgrade from 2048 x 1536 as found on iPad Air 2 with same display. It will feature 401 PPI pixel density with an aspect ratio of 4:3.
iPad Air 3 will be powered with Apple’s newest A9X or A9 chipset coupled with either 2 GB or 4 GB of RAM. While coming to camera compartment, we might see 8 mega pixel snapper on the back, 2.1 mega pixel shooter on the front. Just like iPhone, it will be sold in different models of internal storage with 16 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.
