With the launch of new Apple Watch 2 at September 7 event, the Cupertino iPhone maker which introduced Apple Watch Series 1. In doing that, Apple also upgraded the first generation Watch to dual core processor, making it more faster and efficient.
Apple Watch Series 1
The original rebranded Apple Watch is now named as Apple Watch Series 1 because we have the Apple Watch Series 2. With the new dual core processor addition, the Series 1 is now 50% faster than the original one.
Other specifications of Apple Watch Series 1 such as OLED Retina display, Forced touch, heart rate sensor, splash resistance, still remains same. Furthermore, the pricing gets cheaper. The battery life is still expected to be 18 hours on full charge.
