Here comes Blu Advance 4.0 review in terms of display, processor performance, gaming and camera results.
BLU Products announces two new smartphones in the United States market with 3G triband 850/1700/1900 support for networks like AT&T, T-Mobile, MetroPCS and Rogers, Wind Mobile and lot more.
Device known as Advance 4.0 and Studio 5.0 II are been unveiled. We have reviewed Studio 5.0 II and here comes the Blu Advance 4.0 review.
The name itself indicates that the device might be with 4 inch display and it does mean the same. Through BLU Advance 4.0 you can’t expect 720p HD video play back as the display only provides 480 x 800 pixels resolution. If you are large screen fanboy or expect 720p HD display then Advance 4.0 is not your device. The device provides 233 ppi pixel density.
In our sense, dual core processor forms ideal configuration for a mid-range device. Powered with 1.3 Ghz dual core processor, its a good addition to BLU Advance phone. Perfectly suitable for those who wants to play Subway Surfers, Temple Run, Angry Birds and other games thanks to addition of 512 MB RAM and ARM Mali 400 GPU unit.
The device might not be ideal for heavy gamers for playback of Plant vs Zombies 2, Angry Birds Go & others.
Coming to camera, Blu Advance 4.0 does well to fit 5 mega pixel primary camera and VGA front facing camera. Primary camera is capable of recording 720p HD videos and LED flash improves lighting during night times.
Nothing on mind other than Android and Blu Advance brings the 4.2 Jelly Bean version out of box. With Android 4.2 JB you will feel the crisp and amazing touch support with Google Now integration.
Powered with 1600 mAh battery you are expected to get 8 hours of continuous talk time or 340 hours of standby time. That’s just the measure of battery life but you are expected to run out of battery within one day if you use it for gaming, few phone calls, internet browsing.
