Hot from recent launch of Byond Phablet P1 a 5.3 inch Android phone, Byond Tech a Pune based company has launched B67 another phablet phone. It’ all set to compete with Micromax A72 Viva and other phablet phone below Rs 8,000.
Just where all companies start their phablet phones, it’s equipped with 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display with Anti Scratch technology preventing it from any scratches. Display provides mediocre resolution of 800 x 480 pixels and several sensors like G-Sensor, Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor improves the phone functions for a better smartphone experience.
It includes 1.3 mega pixel front facing camera for video calls and we also see beautiful 8 mega pixel camera with LED flash on the rear side. Powered with 1 GHz dual core Advanced processor and supported with 256 MB RAM is too limiting for a phablet phone although Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system provides smooth touch & better experience.
Under the hood, it has 4 GB internal memory but limiting expandable storage up to 8 GB using a microSD card slot is not justified. SAR Value of the device is also available – 0.709 W/kg (head) and 0.732 W/kg (body) averaged over 1 gm of human tissue. Loaded with 2,000 MAh battery it provides a talk time of 2-3 hours and standby time of up to 5 days with average charging time of 3-4 hours.

Byond B67 Price
Byond Tech has not provided any details on B67 price at this moment but we could soon be in with further details. Anything less than Rs 11,000 is expected and availability via Flipkart, Infibeam, Snapdeal online retailers.
Byond B67 has got everything of what an introductory phablet possess. 8 mega pixel primary camera with LED flash is great add-on but 256 MB RAM is very limiting to cope up with dual core speed. And finally it takes down to price of the handset to judge the device accordingly.
