Among the common Android error related to Google Play Store one is Error 923. This error is shown when you try to download any app or other items from the Play Store. When you click on the install button of the app you wish to download the progress bar starts loading.
This loading of progress bar does not change into downloading bar and continues in the same loading condition for a few minute and finally you get Error 923 and the download stops. Method 1: Clear Cache and Data
- This error may be the result of Google Play Store Cache and Data. So, if you want to overcome it, then you need to clear it out in the settings.
- Just go to Settings > Apps > Google Play Store.
- In google Play store first force stop the application and then clear the Cache and Data.
- In the same way clear Google Play Services Cache and Data.
Method 2: Uninstall Google Play Store
- This method only works for the users who have root access on their device.
- You can then download the Google Play Store apk file and install it again.
