We all are pretty excited about upcoming Android version, i.e., the Android 7.0 which got it's first Developer Preview available for Nexus and other Android phones. Coming to Android N, there are several possible names suggested but it's up to Google to decided which one to go for? Just an idea - why not Google keep an open poll with people all around the world for what name they should have for Android 7.0? How does that sound? Anyways, for the Android enthusiasts, who wants to get hands-on promising Android N features like multi-window, improved dose and others, here they are as Android N features are available for porting to any Android Lollipop or Marshmallow phones.
XDA member MrWasdennnoch has come up with Xposed module named as 'Androi N-ify'. Now this module can easily bring Android N to your Android phone.
Currently this Xposed module supports Double tap switch to switch over to last app opened and Settings Dashboard subtitles. The developer is looking forward for more in coming days.
Here are some of the screenshots after porting this Xposed module -
How to get Android N Features
This will work on any Android phone running on 5.0, 5.1, 5.1.1 Lollipop or Android 6.0 or 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Sorry, it's not for Android 4.4 or lower Android versions. Just follow the process mentioned below -
- This guide works for those devices which have Xposed Framework installed. If you don't have then install it.
- Now Download the Android N-ify Xposed module and install it on your device.
- You will see the Android N-ify app on your App drawer.
Note: Since this app is very early into development stages, you might see various bugs on your device. If you see the issue, please report at the XDA forum, never know it might be helpful for the developer.
