Google Chromebook Pixel is now a two years old product and yet there was no news or information whether Google will like to introduce it’s successor. We now have a confirmation from Google that they are working to come up with a new Chromebook Pixel soon and everything goes well, it will be named as Google Chromebook Pixel 2. This news comes from recent Team Work 2015 event where Google executive Renee Niemi announced that Chromebook Pixel 2 will be a limited release device.Google Chromebook Pixel

Specifications of Google Chromebook Pixel 2 is still unofficial but leaks says that it will keep the same 12.85 inch display with high resolution. It will also feature Type-C USB ports.

Niemi’s at Team Work 2015 said –

“We do have a new Pixel coming out and it will be coming out soon. We will be selling it but I just have to set your expectations: this is a development platform. This is really a proof of concept. We don’t make very many of these — we really don’t. And […] our developers and our Googlers consume 85% of what we produce. But yes, we do have a new Pixel coming out.”
