How to Fix Battery Drain Due to Wi-Fi on Android Marshmallow
Step 1: There is a default function in Android M that is Wi-Fi scanning. In order to turn it off, follow the given steps.
- Go to option Settings and select it.
- Now select the preference Location.
- Open Menu showing three dots in the top right corner side.
- Now you can see the option scanning. Turn it off.
Step 2: It is a time to reset the settings once again.
- Go back to Settings.
- Head off to Backup and Reset.
- Select the option Network Settings Reset.
- And finally tap on Reset Settings.
Step 3: Restart your device to apply the made changes.
Here you go! You can now have a check on your phone and see the difference. Battery life will be better now.
