TracFone Wireless a subsidiary of America Movil in United States, the largest telecom operator in Mexico is all set to introduce budget friendly smartphone dubbed as Huawei Asura M881. We spotted Huawei Technologies made Asura M881 phone while it passed through FCC certification dated April 29, 2013.
Huawei Asura M881 is formerly the Ascend G300 known to the world. Ascend G300 is an affordable smartphone available in many countries worldwide after it first debut in Europe via Vodafone in April 2012. TracFone has very limited Android phones and they are keen to improve Android smartphone lineup. Asura M881 will be great addition to the list.
Under the hood, Huawei Asura comprises of 4 inches WVGA touchscreen display and powered with 1 GHz single core processor with 1 GB RAM. Although Ascend G300 is first powered with Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, this one is with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich version out of box. It includes 1500 mAh battery providing 5-6 hours talk time on the air and has 2 GB internal memory along with a micro SD card slot.
