Micromax, Intex, Xolo and other Indian manufacturers are afraid to launch any mid or high-end smartphones. It’s easily dominated by Chinese players like Huawei, ZTE, Xiaomi and Lenovo. It’s only Samsung and LG, the non-Chinese brands which are giving them a run for the money. The scenario will change soon as Lava Mobiles has plans to launch two new smartphones on March 14.
Dubbed as Lava Z10 and Lava Z25, both will be flagship smartphone priced at around Rs 17,000. The company went ahead and revealed major details about these two smartphones. The Z25 will be powered by 1.5 Ghz Octa core processor with MediaTek MT6750 chip and 4 GB of RAM for multi-tasking at its best. The Mali-T860 GPU chip will handle the graphical processing on the device.
Unlike Z25 which is a flagship Lava phone, the Z10 will be a budget smartphone. It is expected to feature a quad-core processor (chipset unknown yet) with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage. It will be competing with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 4, Redmi 4A and Redmi 4 Prime (which are expected to launch soon in India).

We would be keen to see Micromax reaction on it and it’s the time for local Indian smartphones manufacturers to rise up to the competition against Chinese counterparts.
Don’t be surprised to see Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the brand ambassador of Lava Mobiles ads on television very soon after the official launch.
