While other Chinese OEMs like Xiaomi, Meizu are waiting for an entry into US market, LeECO has got the big US ticket to sale to smartphones and ready to storm. During their big press event in San Francisco, LeECO announced handful of products starting with their best Le Pro 3 smartphone. It registered half a million sale within 15 seconds on the first day of its launch.
The Le Pro 3 comes with 5.5 inch 1920 x 1080 pixels full HD IPS LCD display with 73.8 % screen to body ratio. It’s powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset with quad core processor coupled with 4 Gigs of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. It has fingerprint sensor on the back with USB Type-C port and 4070 mAh battery and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of box.
At the event we also saw LeECO also introducing Le S3. You can call it as mini Le Pro 3 variant and in terms of 5.5 inch 1080 pixels touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. Instead of Snapdragon 821, Le S3 gets Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chip with 3 Gigs of RAM and 32 GB internal memory.
The LeECO Le Pro 3 costs $399 and Le S3 is set to retail at $249. Company is also offering $100 instant rebate if you sign up of company’s LeRewards scheme. It will be sold in United States via flash sale and first of such sale will happen on November 2 starting at 10 AM Pacific Time. Both are unlocked smartphone and compatible with T-Mobile, AT&T, MetroPCS or Cricket Wireless carriers.
The LeECO also introduced world’s first super bike and a 85 Inch 4K TV at the big US press event.
