After Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A phone, the LG G3 LTE-A has been officially announced in South Korea. It will be available for purchase from July 25, 2014.
Previously the LG G3 LTE-A Cat 6 was referred to a device as LG G3 Prime but the company considered revising it’s name at the last moment and the new name looks to be more suitable to the device. Comparing to the original LG G3 phone, this comes with higher clocked Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor with 3 GB RAM and Adreno 420 GPU.
The Cat 6 broadband services mention here has special output as it will provide 50% faster download speed than the existing LTE-A smartphones. With LG G3 LTE-A you can download 1 GB movie in 36.4 seconds with downloading rate of 1225 megabit per seconds.
The G3 LTE-A version will be available in Silk White, Shine Gold and Metallic Black variants.
