Alright, after much panic and pain, LG has finally announced their plans to come up with Optimus G Pro smartphone in United States. So United States will be the third country after South Korea and Japan to get Optimus G Pro. The device has a good record of half-a-million devices sale within 40 days of operation in South Korea and video was teased of Optimus G Pro value pack update bringing the copy of Galaxy Note II features like Smart Video, Dual Camera and pause/resume video recording.
LG has started sending out invites to US techies for an exclusive press event to be held in New York City on May 1. The digital invite title “Share the Genius” doesn’t actually reveal anything particularly but it’s too exact to predict the launch of Optimus G Pro and G2 smartphone. Optimus G Pro directly takes on Galaxy Note II N7100 and Optimus G2 by LG will be a real competitor to Galaxy S4, HTC One, Sony XPeria Z flagship phones as Optimus G is old for the current standards.
As far as Optimus G Pro specifications its nothing special than beating Galaxy Note II in terms of physical parameters and Optimus G2 will be powered with 1.7 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 MSM8974 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and full HD display of unknown size and nothing less than Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version is expected.
Alright! After much of LG's South Korea promotion, it will be interesting to see how it goes in United States and European countries. Will you buy Optimus G Pro ahead of Galaxy Note II phone?
