LG has now adopted Samsung strategy to come up with devices at all price segment. After yesterday’s debut of Optimus G2 as the successor of Optimus G phone(eventually failed to attract any worldwide except South Korea) today LG Electronics have added L1 II smartphone to the L-style series.
It’s reported that the smartphone is designed to be cheapest Android phone from the house of LG. Naturally when we talk about price, the specifications and features are lowered down and with Optimus L1 II launch, LG is targeting low country based smartphones vendors like Micromax, Karbonn in India & BLU in America, Cherry Mobile in Philippines. Both LG and Samsung are hit by all these small vendors and this strategy might work out well because of brand awareness that they possess.
