The total file size of update is 575 MB and as a known matter of fact, it brings the Project Butter user interface optimization and Google Now integration on your phone.
LG Europe has sent OTA update notification on your mobile phone, if you have received pull down the notification and follow the procedure to install the update. But before updating make sure that you are connected to WiFi and have atleast 60 % battery life left on your device. If you haven’t received any update notification, then you can manually check for update availability by going through Menu > Settings > About Phone > Software update. Finally if you have no WiFi available, we advise you to download LG Update tool, connect your phone and breathe in a new life to your device with Jelly Bean.
It’s still remained unclear whether dual SIM model of Optimus L9 would get update as well.
