Successor to LG V10, the LG V20 second smartphone by LG Electronics with dual display and the first smartphone with Android 7.0 Nougat out of box. LG V20 takes all these credits because there is no Nexus phone, instead Google choose to unveil Pixel smartphone.
LG V20 Android 7.1 Nougat Update
In terms of technical specifications we have the device with 5.7 inch Quad HD main display with 2.1 inch 1040 x 160 pixels secondary display on top of LG UX 5.0. The device receives MIL-STD-810G military gradation to be waterproof like iPhone 7, even more than that. It’s has Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with quad core processor and 4 GB RAM. Just like dual display the phone also gets dual 16 mega pixel camera + 8 mega pixel on the rear side with OIS and 5 mega pixel front camera.
As of now there is no changelog available for the Android 7.1 update for any device but it might be definitely a bug fix update as all the major feature improvements only happen with a new Android version release. So, all the new Android features will be now included in the upcoming Android 8.0 O version.
The Android 7.1 Nougat update to LG V20 will be available via Over the Air [OTA] download. The changelog will be provided in the OTA update notification.
This Android 7.1 update for LG V20 will be carried on the unlocked smartphone as available in Asian countries and USA, Europe carrier variants of Verizon Wireless, Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile and other operators. Generally the software update roll-out to carrier variant is delayed.
