With such an amazing phone in hand, it becomes important to take screenshots at regular intervals. Unlike desktops and laptops where the screenshot can be taken by printscreen key, taking screenshots in Android phones require the installation of supported apps which makes the task easier. In some cases, the users are required to root the phones in a manner that the screen capture can be done effectively.

Surprisingly, Moto G comes with an inbuilt screenshot taking technique. To take the screenshot, press and hold the Power and Volume Down button for about a second or so till the screen flashes. It is that simple. The screenshot can be viewed in the image gallery and can be shared easily.

So, that was a simple trick on how to take screenshot on Moto G smartphones. It will work for the following phones:

  • Moto G3
  • Moto G5
  • Moto G5 Plus
