Nokia 8 Android Pie update (Stable Version) is Been Rolled out

As Nokia 3 receives Android 8.1 Oreo update the Nokia 8 sees a piece of good news as Android 9.0 Pie update is been rolled out to the device.

This Nokia 8 Pie update happens to be a stable rollout and it’s been rolled out in a phase-wise manner. Also check out the Nokia Android Pie schedule.

This Android P update for Nokia 8 is available for download through over the air update and all the owners are been notified through a post notification about this software update which happens to be a major software upgrade to this Nokia’s 2018 flagship device.

This announcement was made by HMD Global chief Product Officer Juho Savikas. Actually, this update was scheduled for release in November but due to some reason, it has been delayed and finally it’s been pushed out after a month of delay.

This update soon comes after the beta roll out of the device which happened last week.

There’s also good news for the Nokia 8 Sirocco Android P beta is been tested and Beta Ho Lout will happen soon.

How to Update

If you want to download the latest Android update on your device, there are two ways:

Via Update Notification

if you have received any notification about the software update then please step on it and download the Android Pie firmware. This happens to be a major software upgrade it will be of large size and it’s recommended to connect your device to available Wi-Fi because data charge may incur on your device.

Your device will restart several times during this software upgrade please be patient as it can take more than 20 minutes of your time.

Manual Android Pie for Nokia 8 update

If you haven’t received any update notification then you can manually check for the software availability by going through Settings > About Device and then tap on Software Update/Upgrade.
