After launching Asha 210 the QWERTY phone with WhatsApp dedicated button, Asha 501 hit the headlines for early release in coming days. At a press conference held in New Delhi today it could soon be a reality.
Nokia today launched Nokia Asha 501 and Asha 501 Dual SIM phone. Going through Nokia Asha 501 it’s an entry level smartphone competing with other existing Android phones. The device comes with 3.5 inch AMOLED display screen providing 320 x 480 pixels resolution with bar shaped design and touch screen support ensure the perfect and easy navigation. It will be powered with 1 GHz single core processor providing smooth performance and coupled with 512 MB RAM it helps in multi-tasking at a better pace. It will be powered with Symbian S40 operating system.
The device comes with 5 mega pixel camera helps in capturing better images and impressive resolution. Although there is limited internal storage capacity, it comes with a micro SD card slot supporting up to 32 GB of storage. Coming to media options it includes music player, video player, FM Radio, SNS apps and connectivity option includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS and EDGE etc.
