Nokia Lumia 505

Limited for sale in Mexico via Telcel network, Nokia launches Lumia 505 exclusive limited to one country. Featuring 3.7 inches AMOLED display screen the smartphone is targeted to consumers at low-end market. Though it includes AMOLED display but it provides a maximum resolution as 800 x 480 pixels. Lumia 505 is device with fluctuations in hardware specifications as it includes single core 800 Mhz processor with too low 256 MB RAM.Nokia Lumia 505

We said fluctuations in hardware specifications because the device has 8 mega pixel camera the best in the market providing 720p HD video recording and better image capturing capabilities. And we are disappointed with 4 GB internal memory which is good but sad part is that it has no external memory card support. It comes with Windows Phone 7.8 OS and we are sure that will not be updated to Windows Phone 8 due to its hardware limitations. The 1300 mAh battery provides – 36 hours of music playback time, 7.2 hours of 3G talk time and 600 hours of standby time.

Nokia Lumia 505 has the following features built in –

  • 3.7” Super AMOLED display – good
  • 800 x 480 pixels resolution – good
  • Single core 800 Mhz processor – average
  • 256 MB RAM – too low
  • 8 mega pixel camera – very good
  • 4 Gb Internal memory – limited
  • 1300 mAH battery – average
  • Bluetooth 2.1 – OK
  • Windows Phone 7.8 – good
