NVIDIA SHIELD has surprised us every time with timely software update to the latest versions. After on time Android Lollipop update delivery, here comes the Android 5.1 update to NVIDIA SHIELD tablet bringing host of bug fixes and improvements.
Android 5.1 itself brings many bug fixes for Android 5.0 Lollipop which includes responsiveness upgrades, support for Android for work, improved display performance, firmware update for SHIELD Controller and performance tweaks. There are improvements to the camera, audio, LTE Modem and other fixes.
NVIDIA SHIELD tablet comes with 8 inch 1920x1200 pixels multi-touch display with 66.6% screen to body ratio. It’s powered with NVIDIA Tegra K1 quad-core processor and came with Android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of box. It comes with 16 Gigs of internal storage, 2 Gigs of RAM, 5 mega pixel rear camera , 5 mega pixel front facing camera and powered with 19.75 WH Li-ion battery.
