Pantech is not just a limited smartphone player in South Korea, but they have services available USA with Vega brand of smartphones. Being a third largest smartphone vendor of South Korea, after Samsung and LG Electronics, they are all set to compete with large screen size phablet devices like Galaxy Mega 5.8, OrientPhone Mega and more importantly it’s the move to counter attack upcoming Galaxy Note 3. If you go through the specs, it’s same as that of LG G2 Android phone.

Pantech Vega LTE-A phablet sports 5.7 inches full HD display screen with Advanced LTE connectivity. It’s powered with super-fast and best in town Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.3 Ghz with 2 GB RAM providing no lag and full speed even though you are handling multi-tasking on your phone.
SK Telecom, telecom carrier will sell this phone in South Korea and other carriers like LG U+ & KT Olleh. Not sure whether the device will be available in USA and other countries where Pantech operates. Although the exact list of specs is not revealed by company, sources finds that it will be with 16 GB internal memory, 13 mega pixel camera and nothing less than Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of box.
