Samsung Electronics has just unveiled a four generation Galaxy Ace phone to be officially named as “Samsung Galaxy Ace 4”. So a total of four new Galaxy phones were launched today including Galaxy Core 2, Galaxy Young 2 and Galaxy Star 2 phone and herein we go through Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 review.
Samsung Galaxy Ace 4 quick review is divided into separate sections in terms of display and processor, storage and software, camera and battery life. The device will be available in both 3G HSPA and 4G LTE version.
Display & Processor
In terms of display, the Galaxy Ace 4 is powered with 4-inch touchscreen display powered with bearable 800×480 pixels resolution. In terms of processor, 4G LTE is powered with 1.2 Ghz dual core processor while 3G version is clocked at 1 Ghz with same processor. 1 GB RAM for 4G version and 512 MB RAM for 3G version takes care of processing unit which can be little unbearable after using the device for three to four months.
Software & Storage
It’s good to see Kitkat version of Android on low-end Samsung Galaxy phones and Ace 4 comes out with 4.4.2 Kitkat version out of box. OTA update are supported and in terms of storage 4 GB internal storage with micro SD card support of 32 GB makes it to Ace 4.
We know that all Galaxy phones are powered with TouchWiz launcher but Ace 4 is powered with TouchWiz Essence interface, a simplified version of TouchWiz UI. We are yet to see any explanation about it officially by Samsung on TouchWiz Essence.
Camera & Battery Life
From existing Galaxy Ace 3, successor carries the same camera features with 5 mega pixel primary camera with LED flash capable of filming 720 pixels HD videos at 30 fps and image recorded resolution of 2592 х 1944 pixels. Furthermore VGA front facing camera is used for taking selfies.
4G LTE consumes more battery, that’s why 1800 mAh Li-ion battery is used on Galaxy Ace 4 LTE instead of 1500 mAh Li-ion on SGA 4 3G version.

Galaxy Ace 4 availability is said to be Iris Charcoal and Classic White colors variant with no pricing details as of now. Yet going with current Samsung Galaxy phones it shouldn’t be priced more than $200 (3G variant) and additional $30 for the 4G LTE version.
