If you own a Samsung Galaxy smartphone, then you might be wondering when will be your smartphone receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow. You will be complaining, asking Samsung on their Twitter, Facebook, contacting their support team but no confirmation has come up from the South Korean manufacturers.

According the source TimesNews.co.uk, Samsung will roll out Android 6.0 Marshmallow officially via Over the Air download in three different phases. Each phase rollout covering a number of devices. The updates will be also available for devices using the Samsung KIES.

Phase 1

  • Samsung Galaxy Note 5 SM-N920G – December 2015
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ SM-928G – December 2015
  • Samsung Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 Edge – January 2016
  • Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge in February 2016

Phase 2

  • Samsung Galaxy A8 (SM-A8000)
  • Samsung Galaxy A7 (SM-A700F)
  • Samsung Galaxy A5 (SM-A500F)
  • Samsung Galaxy A3 (SM-A300F)
  • Samsung Galaxy E7 (SM-E700H)
  • Samsung Galaxy E5 (SM-E500H)

The third phase rollout will start after the initial testing is done. Nothing has been officially confirmed by Samsung.

You can view phone specifications and compare them with other mobiles at Samsung’s new phones. Just select the device and then click on “Compare” to add another product/phone.
